Employee Health and Safety Courses on Demand
The Employee Health and Safety team is available to provide participatory education sessions on a range of topics specifically for your department. Please click here to access their website and click on "Education" to access topics.

Web of Science
The Web of Science is a large online database composed of the Science Citation Index and the Social Science Citation Index. One of the strengths of Web of Science is its ability to do cited reference searches. (IE. search for a known citation, and find out who has cited it.) For the past year or so, it has been available for online searching from computers in Hamber and other UBC Library locations, and by use of the proxyserver (for UBC Staff, Faculty and students).

As part of the renewal negotiations for Current Contents access for the three UBC teaching hospital sites, ISI has offered free trial access to the Web of Science for the rest of this year. The UBC Library has set up a separate Web Information page for this trial access: http://toby.library.ubc.ca/resources/infopage.cfm?id=573
